The images on these pages represent what I feel are some of the best artistic Martian surfaces pictures acquired by the two Mars Exploration Rovers. Each image is a color composite using three filtered gray-scale images from the Rover's left Panoramic Camera, plugged into the red, green and blue channels of the images. Although these images are in "color" they do not represent the true color of Mars, but rather what three automatically exposed gray-scale images look like after being combined into an RGB environment "as-is." Below are the filter's colors:

L2 = 753nm (Near-IR) | L4 = 601nm (Red) | L5 = 535nm (Green) | L6 = 482nm (Blue) | L7 = 432nm (Near UV)
