Artist's Bio

The work on these pages represent a maiden voyage into the amazingly versatile world of MetaCreation's Bryce 3D. While these images may seem "quaintly primative" to some, they exist to illustrate the ease of use that the Bryce 3D offers to expressive ElektroArt.

Oregon Native R. Douglas Frederick, besides having an odd imagination, continues to weave many a tangled Web Site. He is also a member of the Lunaria Cooperative Art Gallery in Silverton, Oregon, where many of his images are on display.

Some of his many other hobbies include spending time with his 16-year-old daughter Genevieve, puttering around in the great Oregon outdoors, (especially along a certain 7.5 acre stretch of the Abiqua Creek) , reading and writing science fiction, listening to and collecting traditional Jazz Records created using analog means at 78 rpm. He is also very involved with his community of Silverton, and serves as "Cartoon Chair" for the annual Homer Davenport Days International Cartoon Contest.

He can be reached via the Internet at gus AT norwebster.com.
