Spider Cave
Belly-Crawls & Dusty Cobbles
| Inside the anteroom, we waited as the rest of the team shinnied through. As expedition photo-documentarian, Ken went first, so he could get shots of the rest of us as we crawled on our bellies like a snake. Here we see him shooting Penny and she emerges from the crawl, (left).
Val and Andy, along to grab background info and images for an article in a middle-school level science magazine, are seen here clearly enjoying themselves. For the most part, this cave is rather dry, at least during this time of the year. This cluster of formations, (bottom) have no drippies, and seemed to have stopped growing for now. |
